During the 2024/25 school year, the Arizona Leader During the 2024/25 school year, the Arizona Leadership Foundation awarded $42 million in scholarships to 6,549 students across Arizona. The Arizona Leadership Foundation began with the goal of helping a handful of schools, now we work with over 180 private schools across Arizona. A School Tuition Organization cannot award, restrict, or reserve scholarships solely on the basis of a donor’s recommendation. A taxpayer may not claim a tax credit if the taxpayer agrees to swap donations with another taxpayer to benefit either taxpayer’s own dependent. (A.R.S. 43-1089)
