Green Fields has been my home for almost four years now. In a sense, it has been my place of self-discovery. Green Fields is the place where my passions and interests unfolded; I continue to explore new courses and create more possibilities for my future. Before I came to Green Fields, I didn’t feel the same zest for learning that I do now. I love science and literary arts, and without the teachers and curriculum at Green Fields, it would have been much harder for me to experience a sense of accomplishment in these areas. Not only is there an academic community at Green Fields that supports our dreams, but a social community that is a stepping stone into the world around us. Currently, I’m in 9th grade, and I already know that I’ve made friendships that will last a lifetime.
I want to thank the Arizona Leadership Foundation and its generous donors for giving me this amazing opportunity to continue to grow and prosper at a place where there are no limits to what I can imagine and achieve.
The Arizona Leadership Foundation proudly provides scholarship assistance to private schools and Lexie’s Law schools throughout Arizona with no preference to religious or political affiliation. We believe parents should have a choice when it comes to the education of their children! The Arizona Leadership Foundation is able to offer scholarships through Arizona’s Corporate Income Tuition Tax Credit (CTC) Scholarship Program and the Lexie’s Law Corporate Income Tax Credit Program. These Arizona programs are education plans designed to help Low-Income families and families with Disabled/Displaced children obtain the best education for their children.
Green Fields County Day School -The mission of Green Fields Country Day School is to educate students through rigorous and nurturing programs and experiences which foster the success and well-being of each child. Green Fields is Arizona’s oldest independent school, founded in 1933 on what was once an alfalfa farm in Northwest Tucson. Green Fields continues to instill a passion for lifelong learning in every student – the goal of its founding teacher Rubie Atchley.
