Eilan DuToit

April 01, 2015

This month our featured student is Eilan DuToit. Eilan is a Junior and has attended Salpointe Catholic High School since she was a Freshmen.  She is actively involved in the school through National Honor Society, the drumline and the Salpointe Ambassador program. Through the National Honor Society, Eilan is the Community Service Coordinator, where she helps design volunteer opportunities for Salpointe students. Her goal is to expand the program so there are more plentiful and varied volunteering opportunities.

Eilan would like to go to college out of state and major in art or design. During college, she would also like to study abroad.

One of Eilan’s favorite things about Salpointe is Kairos. Kairos is Greek for “the proper time”. It is a spiritual retreat all Salpoint students have the opportunity to attend.  After attending Kairos, Eilan felt “complete and a lot better, it was a life changing event” and she hopes to be a leader for Kairos next year.

“Thank you to all the donors and people who make this possible. If I didn’t have scholarship opportunities, I wouldn’t be able to go to Salpointe and have all these amazing opportunities. Thank you to all who participate!” ~ Eilan

The Arizona Leadership Foundation proudly provides scholarship assistance to private schools and Lexie’s Law schools throughout Arizona with no preference to religious or political affiliation. We believe parents should have a choice when it comes to the education of their children! The Arizona Leadership Foundation is able to offer scholarships through Arizona’s Corporate Income Tuition Tax Credit (CTC) Scholarship Program and the Disabled/Displaced Corporate Income Tax Credit Program. These Arizona programs are education plans designed to help Low-Income families and families with Disabled/Displaced children obtain the best education for their children.
